 All the way from Germany just to catch the giant kings we have in the river this year.

The fishing has been great with a lot of giant kings in the river it is the year to catch that trophy of a lifetime. Look for fishing to be very good all through October with lots of fresh kings moving up daily. Also the steelhead are slowly moving in. I have been seeing more and more steelhead daily. I still have some open dates in October and November give the lodge a call to get on the water and chase some giants. Also like us on facebook to see even more photos and reports. -Steve Cornetet

9-26-13 Fishing Report

The big manistee is fishing very well, with fall steelhead being caught everyday now. The steelhead numbers will continue to grow throughout October. If you have never experienced fall steelhead you owe it to yourself, there is nothing like it. Salmon are just starting to spawn on the manistee so look for steelhead in the egg buffet behind them. Fishing will remain good through Nov/dec , but October is king. The p.m. continues putting out kings every day with trout also being happy, we are catching a occasional steelhead. Jim, Phil, James Jr, Tana, Hunter keep getting better @ what they do, the guides keep getting better @ there craft etc. great trip,
