12-1-10 Fishing Report

This weekend I took the long trip to Arkansas on the white river. Dropped off this new 16'SuperFly to Lee we had a fun trip and turned a few of the famous huge browns that the White is known for. It was really nice fishing in a t-shirt.

James Jr. and Sr. http://www.naknekrivercamp.com/ and I went for a last day of rifle season float hunt and we decided to scout a bit for some of my upcoming guide trips. Needless to say there were a bunch more steelhead around than shooter bucks. By the way the water we got yesterday and the snow that is coming down is helping the low river conditions, look for steelhead to be on the move up river.......

That is a new fish!

It was fun to have a bent rod Tuesday, perfect conditions warm, cloudy

Here is a wierd find, a small king, not sexually mature coming up river feeding

I have some open day's next week Tue Dec.7th, 9th, and 11-12

Let's have some fun chasing steel, maybe a late season grouse shoot-should be good with the little snow we have
