The fish that we had two weeks ago are on there way to the lake and the new ones are trickling in, making some tougher fishing of late. With steelhead tournaments and tons of pressure stealth and proper presentation have been king. Indicator's and weary fish are not always a great combination. We have been getting some instinct bites out of some steel on streamers. Todd with a nice brown, Doc Bell with a nice steel, and Big Steve and Wife with some great fighting steel and a celebratory cigar. J.P. who has been out with me Friday and Saturday is batting about 0-12 right know we are going to have a priest come and bless our rods and shake the bad blood out today. On heavy pressure days we are going against the mold and walking in to avoid the crowds. I had my Friday April 10th cancel next week if anyone is interested, and both Josh, Blair, and Tom have some open dates.
