4-30-09 Trout-Steelhead Report

Well on the way to the Little river we spotted some albino deer. A very rare thing here even in Northern MI. The Big River is heating up and the P.M. is pumping out it's great browns on streamers. Young Korey and Grandfather Larry and I had a great time trying to tame some hot steel on the swollen P.M. on Sunday. Monday-Tuesday Dr. John and Danimal Dan did the two day northern MI rodeo with morning on the little man, evening on the big man, and second day on the P.M. ---Great two days of fishing and what a brown,,,,,,,Dave and Pam land there first steel of there perspective lives on the big river yesterday. We have a few open boats coming up give us a call and let us show you what fly fishing in Northern Mi is all about.

4-26-09 Trout Report

The Trout Opener was a wet one but we did get a chance to fool some nice trout on the streamer and got are butts handed to us on some hot steelhead. Turkey's, Morels, I love Spring

Fishing has been good and so has the trout fishing,,,,,browns coming on the surface steelhead coming below;;;;;;This is the best time of the year to be fishing with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4-19-09 Fishing Report

Hi guys--------Finally today we have some rain and clouds.......We could use several inches of rain but the cooler weather and less sun made the fishing good on some of our walk-in tribs we like to fish. Our guides have a few open dates----and I am expecting good steelheading well into May


p.s. In low and clear water conditions---neutral clothing and stalking your fish is necessary-----

4-11-09 Fishing Report

Steve Harrison with a nice brown, we had a Great Day on dry's Thursday!! with the black stone hatch (maybe 20 fish on top ((surface)),,,,,Friday Kraig (nice goon glasses) lands a couple hot males,,,,Todd with a great hen,,,,,,,,,and big Jim lands his first steelhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I had my Tuesday cancel this week and Josh, Tom and Blair have some open dates the next two weeks. The next run is trickling in and with the high traffic walking in on lesser known spots has been working well for us........

We got lucky today other than all the fish we lost. The fishing remains good for some and tough for others. I still have Good Friday off and the fishing is fair. Come up and bend your rod
