First Fall Steelhead On The Fly!!!!! We got a few kings on hardware this morning we still love those feeding fish,,,,,,,,,then we switched to fly's in the afternoon and bango we got mr. steel on a big spey like streamer.................We have some great fall steel dates open,,,,great time to swing for steel with the fly rod,,,,,brush up on some indi-fishing,,,,or go to the dark side and try some hardware for the................

Hi guys,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Who Says King Wont Bite!!!!!!!!! Big Lee knows better,,,,,,,,,,,Had a great day on the lower river today,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Finally no rain,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I just had some prime dates cancel a 3 boat gig because of some family issues I have Sep. 26th, and Sep. 27th open for 3 boats come and and get your smile on the web on some dates that normally are booked over a year in advance...................

9-15-08- Fishing Report

Salmon are shooting up in the lower rivers in good numbers. Its been a late start, but with all the rain we have been getting they are finally starting a major push. The PM and Big Manistee both have good numbers in the lower waters and they have been pounding stickbaits and bright streamers. Deep water nymping in those deep holes where the fish rest after a long push has proven to work during bright sunny days. We have been finding that neutral colored egg patterns and dark nymphs have been working best. The salmon are starting to gravel up so our bait piles for our steelhead are starting to get going,,,,get ready,,,,,,with this weather we should be ready for a really good fall steelhead run,,,,get in for your October dates they are going fast.................

9-11-08 Fishing Report

Hi guys fishing stays steady,,,,,,,,,,yesterday we got a few on big fly's and sink tip,,,,,it's hard to put the ease of a spinning rod down sometimes,,,,,,if your looking for the aggressive fish moving in,,,,sometimes in droves give us a buzz,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the water is close to normal again and in my opinion we could use another little drink of rain which it sounds thats what coming in............We have had some issues this year with breaking rods must be the fresh fish moving in.............We have a few open guide dates.........

9-7-08 Fishing Report

Well with the rain and cooler temps the fishing has really picked up.......Big sinking lines and big fly's have been working along with the ever present stickbaits.............Had a great couple father son trips lately with Jerry,Jon,Jim had a great day fishing together,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,And Marky and Dad Don rocked them today,,,,,,,,,,,,,,The water is a bit murky but the fish are chewing the bright stuff,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Give us a try this week and have some of the best biting river salmon of the year.......................

9-4-08 Fishing Report

This morning was much better fishing then of late with the colder weather and the rain I think the kings are in a much better mood and on their way in big time,,,,,,,,,,,I had a late cancellation and decided to take my Dad and his girlfriend Cindy out she landed her first stickbait king of her life what a fight......

Our guides have a few days open come get a ride with some of these fair hooked green kings...............

Hi guys fishing over this weekend was tough with the warm days and little rain,,,,,,,,,We are still getting a few early in the morning and late at night..............Dave and Dan ((Good Ole Brit's have the stick bait thing down)) The first three pictures are of Ed Hanna and kids with there big kings......Great job guys,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I had a few cancellations this week if your looking to get the rod ripped out of your hand...........
