Hi guys the river is in good shape with lots of extra snow around,,check snowmobile report. The fishing has been hit or miss have 5 fish one day and get blanked the next, there are fish around so bring the snow shoes and get up here,,

Fishing Report 1-24-08

Here are a couple pictures from last Fri's trip with Steve and Dan on the upper P.M., we had a lot of fun and there are actually a few fish around. We also were tossing streamers from hole to hole and managed to land a nice brown in the 18" range. If the temps are over 25 degrees they are fishable, we have a little warm up Sun., and Monday let me if you want to hit the river. I went fun fishing this week (back plugging) on the big man and we really banged a lot of fish (camera wouldn't work to cold and it was frozen and wet from the last trip), you can basically plug fish out of a boat at any temp if your tough enough and have a good heater,,,,we did have to hook fish between ice flows, slush flows......
Get out this weekend it is supposed to warm up a bit

1-15-08 Fishing Report

Fishing as of yesterday has really picked up on the pm we seem to have a few more fish around. With the little warmth in temps the last couple days we have been actually bringing steel from stripping streamers from the boat between holes. I have been mostly fishing down river where the water is still off but big and ugly has been putting a bend in the rod.... Get out the next couple days before it really turns artic.......

1-10-08 P.M. River Conditions

Well the first pic. is green cottage looking to the left, second is green looking to the right and the third is the bridge at the Flint Rainbow Club, the water is in a little better shape above the Baldwin River, Sunday would be the better day out of the two this weekend,,,come on up this weekend it's better than sitting on the couch, catch the playoff games at the bar after fishing the river.......

1-7-07 Winter Thaw Fishing Report

Hi guys things are warming up here a bit, the only problem is as the weather warms the river is swelling a bit...... My guess is by this weekend the river should be perfect with hopefully some fresh chromies in it. This is the time of year for peace and tranquility and freshen up on your steelhead techniques. It will be nice to actually have some water to fish in again!!!!!!

Dec 2nd Fishing Report

Hi Guys just want to say thanks for the great season..........There are fish around they just have a bit of lock jaw with no rain and super clear water...............the great thing is the traffic on the rivers have slowed down..........The picture on the the left is a big man swung fly male and the one on the right is a little man small egg female........Go light flurocarbon and lots of patience and you can have a bent rod.............Please keep me from the epoxy fumes of my other labor of love stealthcraftboats and lets go fishing............with the nice mix of coho's a picture with a fish is not out of the ?,,,,this time of year a half day trip makes a lot of sense,,,go from 11am till dark when the water is the warmest ...........give me a buzz and lest go fishing.......

Nov 7- Fishing Report "Fall Steel"

We still need to do a rain dance but there are a few fish around you just have to go lighter and stealthier on your presentations. Most of all the rivers in the century circle have fish in the lower sections, and yes the kings keep coming unbelievable to see so many fresh kings this late..... That picture of the king was from today Nov 7 we caught on the swing, and there are a bunch that fresh around,,,after 3 months i am good to not see any kings but it was kind of impressive how late the run has been, anyways the north winds are pushing the cold water onto the beaches and the fish should start marching up no water or not...........
